Andy began his career with Community Trust and Investment Company (CTIC) in 2004 and was named President and CEO in 2011. Andy has worked in the administration of investment agency accounts, trusts, IRAs and estates since 1987. As President and CEO, he is responsible for the oversight and direction of CTIC, serves as a Board Member for CTIC and is an Executive Vice President for Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., the holding company of the trust subsidiary. Prior to joining CTIC, Andy was Vice President at First Citizens Bank in Raleigh, NC where he was employed for nearly 17 years. Andy has been a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) since 1997. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, B.B.A., in Trust Management from Campbell University in 1987.

Andy is active in the community and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors at Trinity Christian Academy. He also serves on Trinity's Development Committee and Leadership Council. Furthermore, Andy is a member of the Midwest-Midsouth Estate Planning Institute Planning Committee for the University of Kentucky Continuing Legal Education. Andy serves on the Finance Committee and is a Trustee and an Elder at Tates Creek Presbyterian Church. He is a member of the Board (past Chairman) of the Trust Education Foundation, which is affiliated with Campbell University, and currently serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee. Andy is also a member and former President of the Bluegrass Estate Planning Council.
