Namsun Kim Biography and Net Worth

Namsun Kim has served as a member of our board of directors since May 2024. Mr. Kim has been the Head of Strategic Investments of NAVER Corporation since April 2025 and leading its global investment strategy. Mr. Kim has served as the executive chairman of Poshmark board of directors since April 2025. Mr. Kim served as the Chief Financial Officer of NAVER Corporation from March 2022 until March 2025, where Mr. Kim was responsible for corporate and business development, strategy, investments/M&A, and global growth initiatives. Prior to his role as CFO, Mr. Kim joined NAVER Corporation in 2020 to lead corporate development and strategic investments and also oversaw WEBTOON’s finance function, when he served as the Chief Financial Officer of WEBTOON from March 2022 to October 2023. Before joining NAVER Corporation, Mr. Kim led Private Equity Investments in Korea at Macquarie Group from April 2017 to July 2020, during which time he served on the boards of ADT Korea and LG CNS. Between 2012 and 2017, Mr. Kim held several investment banking positions at Morgan Stanley and Lazard across New York, Hong Kong, and Seoul. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kim was a corporate attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Mr. Kim received a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Seoul National University and a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School.
