Travis Dobbins is Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Valvoline Inc., where he leads all aspects of technology, information security, and support for the company’s more than 2,000 retail service centers, including desktop and cloud services, network, information security, retail store point-of-sale, customer experience platforms, as well as corporate applications that support finance, supply chain, human resources, and sales and analytics.
Dobbins joined Valvoline in 2010 and has been promoted over the years to increasing levels of leadership. He began leading the technology team responsible for all Valvoline Instant Oil ChangeSM service centers nationwide. From there in director and vice president roles he led Valvoline’s retail technology platforms, business intelligence and analytics, digital products and overall end-to-end design and delivery of business platforms. He also served for six years with Valvoline’s former parent company Ashland Inc., overseeing the technology group that managed global business process solutions and ERP platforms.
Prior to his leadership roles at Valvoline and Ashland, he was a technology consultant at Plaut/IDS Scheer for companies including Paramount Studios and Raytheon.
Dobbins holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from University of Louisville.
