Ramesh Gopalakrishnan Biography and Net Worth

Ramesh Gopalakrishnan has served as our Chief Operating Officer, Wind since May 2019. He previously served as our Senior Vice President, Technology, Quality and LATAM operations and prior to that as Senior Vice President of Technology and Industrialization since 2016. Mr. Gopalakrishnan has over 25 years of operations, manufacturing, supply chain, strategy and technology experience in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Previously, Mr. Gopalakrishnan was the Executive Vice President, Manufacturing for Senvion, based in Hamburg, Germany. Prior to this, he spent three years as COO of Suzlon Energy Composites in Pune, India, and 5 years with Halliburton Corp. in Houston, Texas in various supply chain and strategy leadership roles. Early in his career, Ramesh spent ten years with GE where he started as a mechanical engineer and quickly worked his way into leadership positions in product development, advanced technology programs, globalization and project management. Mr. Gopalakrishnan is a GE certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He received a bachelor’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and his Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
