Robert I. Toll serves as Director of the Company. Mr. Toll, with his brother Bruce E. Toll, founded our predecessor’s operations in 1967. He has been a member of our Board since our inception in May 1986. He served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer from our inception until June 2010, when he assumed the position of Executive Chairman of the Board. In October 2018, Mr. Toll stepped down from his role as Executive Chairman and assumed the role of Special Advisor to the Company, as well as being named the honorary Chairman Emeritus of the Board. He has established the Company as the country’s leading luxury homebuilder and brings to the Board his dynamic entrepreneurial and leadership experience as a founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Chairman of the Company.
