Jeffrey “Jeff” Green is the founder, chairman, and CEO of The Trade Desk, which he co-founded in 2009 with Dave Pickles.

The Trade Desk, which went public in 2016, is a social, mobile, and video advertising company that works to empower ad buyers through data-driven decision making.

The Trade Desk was one of the Facebook ad exchange’s first ad partners. It has been recognized by publications such as Business Insider, Forbes, Crain’s, and Fortune as both one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S. and one of the best places to work. Green was named one of the “4 under 40” emerging marketing leaders by the American Marketing Association, and in 2017 he was recognized as the Technology Leader of the Year.

Prior to his career with The Trade Desk, Green started an online advertising exchange company, AdECN in 2004, where he served as chief operating officer and led all strategy, business, and product development. In 2007, AdECN was purchased by Microsoft, and Green spent two years with Microsoft’s Online Services Division overseeing reseller and channel partner business.

Green has held other leadership positions in digital advertising, including as director of operations for 411 Web Interactive, vice president of operations and marketing for eBound/Nami, founder and owner of King of Search.com, and COO of AdECN.

Through The Trade Desk, Green has done work for hundreds of nonprofits, including Water.org, the Charity Defense Council, and Not Impossible. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and a degree in marketing communications from the University of Southern California.
