He is responsible for the company’s power transmission organic and inorganic growth strategy, which has diversified Timken’s overall product, end-market, channel and geographic mix. Landin’s contributions have strengthened the company’s financial performance — increasing revenue growth and profitability and reducing cyclicality.

Landin leads the successful integration and growth of acquired businesses that engineer, manufacture and sell lubrication systems, linear motion products, industrial belts, chain, couplings, clutches and brakes. Previously, Landin served as vice president, business advancement, charged with accelerating and sustaining profitable growth for the company. He was also director of process industries and wind energy, creating a strong foundation for Timken’s industrial growth in the Process Industries segment. In addition, Landin was director of the rail business and operations manager at several Timken facilities. He joined Timken in 1996.

Landin is a member of the board of directors for Beijer Alma AB, a Sweden-based industrial group that operates subsidiaries Lesjofors, Habia Cable and Beijer Tech.

Landin earned a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Chalmers University in Sweden.
