Carey Halio is Global Treasurer of Goldman Sachs and a member of the Management Committee. She is also a member of the Conduct Committee and Enterprise Risk Committee and co-chair of the Firmwide Asset Liability Committee.

Previously, Ms. Halio was Global Head of Investor Relations and Chief Strategy Officer. Prior to that, she was Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs Bank USA and Deputy Treasurer of Goldman Sachs. Before that, Ms. Halio served as Chief Financial Officer of Goldman Sachs Bank USA. Earlier in her career, she was Head of the Americas Financial Institutions team in Credit Risk. Ms. Halio started at Goldman Sachs in 1999 as a Summer Associate in Credit Risk in New York and rejoined the firm in 2000 in the same group. She was named Managing Director in 2009 and Partner in 2016.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Halio was a volunteer in the US Peace Corps in Guatemala, providing micro-credit assistance to local women.
