Prior to her promotion to Group President, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis served as Global Brand
President, Estée Lauder for seven years. As the leader of the Company’s namesake brand, Ms.
Hertzmark Hudis spearheaded Estée Lauder's modernisation and digital evolution to reach
and influence the next generation of digital native consumers. While at the helm, she solidified
Estée Lauder's position as a global leader in high-performance prestige skin care and makeup,
growing the brand's net sales by more than 40 percent and establishing Estée Lauder as the
number one prestige brand in its distribution in Asia.
Prior to her leadership of the Estée Lauder brand, Ms. Hertzmark Hudis served in a number of
key leadership roles at the Company, including President of Origins as well as BeautyBank, a
brand innovation think tank she founded in 2003.
Ms. Hertzmark Hudis received her B.A. degree from Vassar College and her M.B.A. from
Columbia University. She serves as a Director of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT)
Foundation as well as a member of FIT's Executive Committee of the Cosmetics and Fragrance
Marketing and Management Graduate Programme. A recipient of Cosmetic Executive
Women's (CEW) Achiever Award in 2008, she also serves on the Advisory Board of the Breast
Cancer Research Foundation. In 2010, she received the HELP Hero Business Leadership Award
from HELP USA, a nonprofit charity providing services to the homeless, for her commitment
to helping women succeed in business. In 2016, WWD Beauty Inc. honoured Ms. Hertzmark
Hudis with the inaugural Beauty Newsmaker Award, which recognises industry leaders who
have dominated the beauty headlines.
Ms. Hertzmark Hudis and her husband raised two sons, and reside in Manhattan. She
was honoured with the 2017 Outstanding Mother Award from the National Mother's Day
