Verbeck joined the Finance team at McDonnell Douglas in 1986 after working as a steelworker. Since then, Verbeck has held various leadership roles with increasing responsibilities, including program manager for the UK tanker program, controller of BDS and general manager of Finance, and vice president and chief financial officer of the Boeing Military Aircraft division.
