Ross W. Manire founded ExteNet Systems, Inc., a wireless networking company, and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer from 2002 until 2018. He was President of the Enclosure Systems Division of Flextronics International, Ltd., an electronics contract manufacturer, from 2000 to 2002, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Chatham Technologies, Inc., an electronic packaging systems manufacturer that merged with Flextronics, in 2000. Prior to joining Chatham Technologies, Mr. Manire was Senior Vice President of the Carrier Systems Business Unit of 3Com Corporation, a provider of networking equipment and solutions. He served in various executive positions with U.S. Robotics from 1991 to 1997, including Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Senior Vice President of the Network Systems Division prior to its 1997 merger with 3Com. From 1989 to 1991, Mr. Manire was a partner in Ridge Capital, a private investment company. He began his professional career at Ernst & Young, LLP, and served as a partner in the Entrepreneurial Services Group from 1985 to 1989.

Mr. Manire is currently a member of the board of directors of The Andersons, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANDE), a diversified business with interests in agribusiness where he is a member of the Audit Committee and the Chair of the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee. Mr. Manire is also an operating partner at Columbia Capital, the Chairman of Vivacity LLC and is on the board of directors of Hellen Systems and Quicket Solutions, Inc.

This segment also engages in the commodity merchandising business, as well as offers logistics for physical commodities, such as whole grains, grain products, feed ingredients, domestic fuel products, and other agricultural commodities. Its Renewables segment produces, purchases, and sells ethanol, and co-products, as well as offers facility operations, risk management, and marketing services to the ethanol plants it invests in and operates. The company's Nutrient & Industrial segment manufactures, distributes, and retails agricultural and related plant nutrients, liquid industrial products, corncob-based products, and pelleted lime and gypsum products, as well as turf fertilizer, pesticide, and herbicide products; and crop nutrients, crop protection chemicals, and seed products, as well as provides application and agronomic services to commercial and family farmers. In addition, this segment produces corncob-based products for laboratory animal bedding and private-label cat litter, as well as absorbents, blast cleaners, carriers, and polishers; professional lawn care products for golf course and turf care markets; fertilizer and weed, and pest control products; dry and liquid agricultural nutrients, pelleted lime, gypsum, and soil amendments; and micronutrients, as well as industrial products comprising nitrogen reagents, calcium nitrate, deicers, and dust abatement products.
