George C. Bobb III is a Senior Vice President of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated and is the Segment President of Teledyne’s Aerospace and Defense Electronics segment.

In addition to his role as Segment President of Teledyne’s Aerospace and Defense Electronics Segment, Mr. Bobb leads Teledyne Scientific and Imaging, LLC, and Teledyne’s Information Technology efforts, and oversees the management of Teledyne’s Marine Instrumentation and Engineered Systems.​

Prior to assuming responsibility for the Aerospace and Defense Electronics segment, Mr. Bobb served as President of Teledyne Aerospace Electronics and President of Teledyne Controls, LLC. Prior to that, he served as President of Teledyne Scientific and Imaging, LLC, and President of Teledyne Defense Interconnects. He also previously served in a variety of corporate positions at Teledyne including Chief Compliance Officer, Vice President – Contracts and Information Technology, and other roles.

Prior to joining Teledyne in 2008, Mr. Bobb was the Deputy Chief of Staff of the National Security Division of the United States Department of Justice. During his tenure at the Department of Justice, he also served as Counsel for National Security Law and Policy.

Mr. Bobb holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Coast Guard Academy and a law degree from the Yale Law School. As an active duty Coast Guard officer, he served as a Boarding Officer and Deck Watch Officer on the United States Coast Guard Cutter Vigilant, and then as Commanding Officer of the United States Coast Guard Cutter Marlin. Mr. Bobb subsequently served as a liaison for the Coast Guard to the United States House of Representatives.

Mr. Bobb is the recipient of the United States Attorney General's Award for Excellence in Furthering the Interests of U.S. National Security, the Coast Guard Achievement Medal and the Coast Guard Commendation Medal.​​​
