Tom Lynch has served on the TE Connectivity Board of Directors since its inception in June 2007, serving as the Chairman since January 2013. Mr. Lynch served as Executive Chairman of TE Connectivity from March 2017 to March 2018, and served as the company’s Chief Executive Officer from January 2006 to March 2017.
From September 2004 to January 2006, Mr. Lynch was at Tyco International (Tyco) as the President of Tyco Engineered Products & Services, a global manufacturer of industrial valves and controls. Prior to this role, he served as President of the Integrated Electronics Systems sector, of which automotive was the largest market segment.
Prior to Motorola, Mr. Lynch was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Satellite and Broadcast Network Systems segment for General Instrument Corporation.
Mr. Lynch serves on the boards of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., Cummins Inc. Automatic Data Processing Inc. and on the boards of trustees for The Franklin Institute, Philadelphia, PA, and Rider University, Lawrenceville, NJ.
Mr. Lynch has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Rider University, New Jersey, U.S.
