Rossann Williams Biography and Net Worth

Rossann Williams is an accomplished operations executive with over three decades of experience. Rossann is known for her track record of driving growth, and for building positive, diverse, and productive company cultures. As the Chief Operating Officer for Sweetgreen, Rossann is responsible for overseeing Field Operations, Operations Services and Innovation, Real Estate + Store Development & Supply Chain for the Company.

Prior to joining the Company, Rossann was an 18-year veteran of Starbucks. She most recently served as Executive Vice President and President of its retail business in North America, where she significantly improved same-store sales and opened up thousands of new stores. Rossann also served as President of Starbucks Canada where she doubled market share and helped establish the company as a retail industry leader in healthcare benefits. She also led Starbucks’ operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa where she shaped and scaled operational excellence for Starbucks stores. This experience of living and operating a business abroad was essential in expanding her perspective on how companies and people can be positive and productive global citizens. Her other roles at Starbucks included Head of Global Talent Management, and SVP and Head of the company’s U.S. and later its Global Operations.

Prior to Starbucks, Rossann held a number of successive leadership roles for Blockbuster, Inc., and Toys “R” Us. Rossann’s entrepreneurial spirit dates back to college, when she sought a loan to purchase a struggling 7-Eleven franchise. In the process of turning around a business, she learned that she loved training people, being part of the community, and experiencing the business challenges of running a store.
