In that role, he led retail banking, small business, business banking, mortgage, digital banking, indirect auto lending, consumer credit operations, and business controls. Prior to Fifth Third, Chad held a variety of leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase, including Chief Financial Officer for the $8+ billion revenue Consumer Bank; Head of the Retail Distribution Network representing over 5,100 branch locations and 16,000 ATMs; and Head of Branch Administration In addition to his time in the banking industry, Chad was an Associate Principal with McKinsey & Company where he primarily advised clients in financial services. Chad was also an Associate at Goldman Sachs & Co in New York. Chad is a veteran having served on active duty in the United States Army in the 25th Infantry Division where he was Airborne, Air Assault and Ranger-qualified. Chad received his MBA from Harvard Business School, and a BS in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business where he was also a Distinguished Military Graduate.
