Jeremi Gorman is the chief business officer at Snap, Inc., the social media company responsible for Snapchat.
Gorman joined Snapchat in 2018 to lead the social network’s global business solutions, global online sales, customer operations and business marketing. After several consecutive quarters of stagnant user growth, Gorman has played an integral part in Snap’s turnaround as Gen Z’s social media platform of choice.
The tech advertising executive moved Snap away from attempting to appeal to everyone by doubling down on the company’s core base of Gen Z. Gorman led the process of simplifying Snap’s advertising business for both clients and agencies, and she helped create an invite-only Partner Summit for advertisers to get an inside look at what Snap has in store in the coming year. Gorman is credited with bolstering Snap’s user growth by being more personal with the advertising community to create a better Gen Z user experience.
Before joining Snap, Gorman spent six years leading advertising teams at Amazon including roles as head of entertainment advertising sales, head of advertising sales in North America and head of global field sales for Amazon advertising.
Before Amazon, Gorman was the strategic accounts director of advertising sales at Yahoo between 2007 and 2012 and the director of sales at Variety Magazine the two years prior.
In 1999, Gorman began her career at Monster.com as their marketing communications manager.
Gorman holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
