Michael Arntz is the chief revenue officer and executive vice president of worldwide field operations for Smartsheet.
In these roles, he is responsible for the computer software company’s sales, service and support operations. Prior to Smartsheet, Arntz spent time at NetSuite as the senior vice president of sales for the Americas, where he oversaw the company’s sales in North and South America and drove the adoption of NetSuite’s cloud-based business management software.
Previously, from 2013 to 2014, Arntz served as the executive vice president of worldwide sales for Kenandy Inc. However, the bulk of his early career was spent at Oracle, where he spent nearly 20 years. While there, Arntz worked mostly in sales, most recently as the group vice president of North American application sales and midmarket accounts from 2010 to 2013. Arntz also created and led the team in charge of sales for Oracle’s software as a service applications.
He launched his career as a sales representative with Schlumberger Technologies in 1986, moving on to become a global account manager for Digital Equipment Corporation from 1988 to 1994.
Arntz holds degrees in biology and engineering from Michigan Technological University.
