Mark Hawkins is the president and CFO of Salesforce, the world’s leading CRM provider. In this role, he is in charge of directing Salesforce's global finance organization. Hawkins reports directly to Marc Benioff as part of the executive committee.

Hawkins has held the president and CFO positions since August 2017. He has been with the company since 2014, and he brought around 35 years of expertise leading finance for global technology companies, with previous roles at Hewlett-Packard (HP), Autodesk, Dell, and Logitech. Hawkins spent 19 years with HP in various management and finance roles. 

Hawkins serves on the boards of Toast, Plex Systems, Secureworks, and The Ocean Cleanup. He is also part of the NYSE Listed Companies Advisory Board. He is a part of the USA Chapter of The Prince’s Accounting for Sustainability Project CFO Leadership Network as a founding member, and he serves in the World Economic Forum’s Financial Systems Stability Initiative. Hawkins has also hosted the Davos World Economic Forum Chief Financial Officer Forum since 2015. 

The Salesforce executive was named America’s Best CFO in 2021 by Institutional Investor, given the 2020 CFO Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award, and the University of Colorado Distinguished Alumnus Award.

Hawkins earned his M.B.A. at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and his bachelor’s degree in operations management at Michigan State University. Additionally, he is an alumnus of Harvard Business Schools’ Advanced Management Program.
