Amala Duggirala serves as Regions Chief Operations and Technology Officer and is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership team. Duggirala is responsible for all aspects of Regions Enterprise Operations, Information Technology and Data and Analytics. Regions is a regional bank that operates throughout the South, Midwest and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, Ala.

Prior to joining Regions in 2017, Duggirala served as Chief Technology Officer at Kabbage where she led the technology team in advancing the automation and scalability of the company’s platform to drive lending for organizations world-wide. Before joining Kabbage, Duggirala served as Executive Vice President of Global Software Development and Implementation Services at ACI Worldwide where she was responsible for the architecture, development, and delivery of products in the consumer and commercial payments space. Duggirala began her career as an engineer in telecommunications for Century Link and British Telecom where she held a variety of leadership positions.

Duggirala holds a Master of Science from Columbia University in New York with a specialization in Business and Digital Transformation, as well as an MBA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a certification in Advanced Project Management from Stanford University. She earned her degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India.

She currently serves on the board of directors for TechBridge, a technology nonprofit serving underprivileged communities
