Douglas “Doug” Valenti is the founder, chairman and CEO of QuinStreet, a publicly-traded marketing company.

Valenti founded the company in 1999, and he has served as its CEO since then and as board chairman since 2004.

Before QuinStreet, Valenti spent five years at Rosewood Capital as a partner, three years at McKinsey & Company as a strategic consultant, and three years in management positions with Procter & Gamble.

Previously, he served in the U.S. Navy for five years as a decorated nuclear submarine officer and a qualified submarine warfare specialist (gold dolphins).

Valenti holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He also holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. Additionally, he is a graduate of the U.S. Navy postgraduate nuclear engineering program.
