Stephanie R. Raymond is president of PPL Electric Utilities Corporation, the subsidiary that provides electric delivery services to 1.4 million customers in eastern and central Pennsylvania. Prior to her role in Distribution Operations, Raymond was vice president of Transmission and Substations, leading operations, planning, engineering, compliance, real estate, siting and permitting, project management, construction management, contract management, and new transmission business ventures.
Before joining PPL in 2011, Raymond was chief operating officer of Cablenet Services Inc., a Boothwyn, Pa-based cable company, where she drove the company to best-in-class status in her first year of management. Previously, she held numerous senior leadership positions for Comcast Cable Communications in Philadelphia, Pa.; General Fiber Communications in Conshohocken, Pa.; International Fibercom Inc. in Phoenix, Ariz.; and All Star Telecom in Sacramento, Calif.
Raymond earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration – finance/strategic management from California State University in Sacramento and completed the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Education Program. She is the executive sponsor of the PPL African American network, an employee business resource group and plays an active role in the community, including serving as the Board Chair of the Valley Youth House and vice president of PPL Foundation, which contributes millions each year to improve the lives of people in the communities PPL serves.
