She previously served as Chief of Staff to Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval from January 2011 to September 2012 and prior to that as the assemblywoman representing District 25 in the Nevada State Legislature from 2004 to 2010. Her time in the executive and legislative branches of state government includes roles related to business, education, economic development, workforce training, and energy. Ms. Gansert is an engineering graduate of Santa Clara University and holds a Masters’ degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno. Ms. Gansert’s experience with economic development, knowledge of and involvement in the northern Nevada region and extensive leadership experience qualify her for service as a member of the Board.
