Gary Barancik Biography and Net Worth

Mr. Barancik is a Partner of Perella Weinberg Partners and Chief Financial Officer of the Firm. He has been a Partner since 2006, the year of the Firm’s founding, and our CFO since 2018. Prior to being named CFO, Mr. Barancik was a member of the Firm’s Advisory business where he was co-chair of the Fairness Committee and co-head of the Board and Special Committee Advisory Practice. Mr. Barancik has focused on providing analysis, structuring and execution of highly complex mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, restructurings, joint ventures, recapitalizations, spin/split-offs, hostile takeovers and defense assignments for clients. Prior to joining Perella Weinberg Partners, Mr. Barancik was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department. He began his investment banking career at Morgan Stanley in 1987. Mr. Barancik earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics, summa cum laude, and a Masters in Business Administration with High Distinction from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
