Kenneth T. Lane, 55, is President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Olin. He became President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director effective March 18, 2024.  Prior to that, Mr. Lane served as Executive Vice President, Global Olefins and Polyolefins (O&P) of LyondellBasell, one of the world’s largest plastic, chemicals, and refining companies, where Mr. Lane had manufacturing and commercial responsibility for the O&P Americas and O&P Europe, Asia and International segments as well as Global Procurement. Preceding this assignment, Mr. Lane served as Executive Vice President of Global O&P for three years and as interim CEO of LyondellBasell in early 2022. Prior to joining LyondellBasell in July 2019, he was with BASF for 13 years, where he held senior executive positions in the Global Polyurethanes Division, and served as President of the Monomers Division and as President of BASF Catalysts. Before BASF, he served in a variety of operations, strategy and commercial positions at BP Chemicals as well as various technical and operations roles at Amoco Chemical Corporation. Over his career, he has served in leadership roles in the United States, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, China and Belgium. Mr. Lane holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Clemson University and a Master of Science in management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. It operates through three segments: Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls; Epoxy; and Winchester. The Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls segment offers chlorine and caustic soda, ethylene dichloride and vinyl chloride monomers, methyl chloride, methylene chloride, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, perchloroethylene, hydrochloric acid, hydrogen, bleach products, potassium hydroxide, and chlorinated organics intermediates and solvents. The Epoxy segment provides Allylics, such as allyl chloride, epichlorohydrin, and glycerin; aromatics, including acetone, bisphenol, cumene, and phenol; liquid and solid epoxy resins; and converted epoxy resins and additives. The Winchester segment offers sporting ammunition products, including shotshells, small caliber centerfire, and rimfire ammunition products for hunters and recreational shooters, and law enforcement agencies; small caliber military ammunition products for use in infantry and mounted weapons; and industrial products comprising gauge loads and powder-actuated tool loads for maintenance applications in power and concrete industries, and powder-actuated tools in construction industry. The company markets its products through its sales force, as well as directly to various industrial customers, mass merchants, retailers, wholesalers, gun clubs, other distributors, and the U.S. Government and its prime contractors. Olin Corporation was incorporated in 1892 and is based in Clayton, Missouri.
