John P. Meegan serves as Independent Director of the Company. He is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Hefren-Tillotson, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based investment management firm. Prior to joining Hefren-Tillotson he held various senior level positions with both regional and national brokerage firms. Mr. Meegan previously served as a director of Prestige Bank, which was acquired by Northwest Bank in 2002 and has served on Northwest Bank’s Southwest Region Advisory Board since that time. Mr. Meegan is a CPA, having worked for KPMG LLP in New York City, and holds a degree in Economics from Amherst College and an MBA from New York University. He also serves as Chairman of both the Financial Responsibility and Uniform Practice Committees for FINRA and is a member of its National Adjudicatory Council (NAC). Mr. Meegan’s extensive knowledge of investment management matters enhances the oversight of our trust and investment activities, and his work with FINRA broadens the Board of Directors’ knowledge of the capital markets.
