Joyce St. Clair is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Northern Trust, a leading provider of wealth management, asset servicing, asset management and banking to corporations, institutions, affluent families and individuals. She is a member of the corporation’s Management Group.

Prior to her current appointment, Joyce was Chief Capital Management Officer, overseeing all capital and liquidity management initiatives. Before, she was President of Operations & Technology, responsible for Northern Trust’s technology infrastructure and applications development, as well as custody and banking operations. Her other roles at Northern Trust have included Chief Risk Officer, Head of Global Derivatives Operations, Deputy Head of the International Market Segment, and integration lead of the Barings Financial Serves Group (FSG) into Northern Trust.

Joyce joined Northern Trust as a Vice President in August 1992. She was named a Senior Vice President in July 1996 and an Executive Vice President in October 2003. Prior to joining Northern Trust, she was an Associate Partner with Andersen Consulting's Financial Services Group in Chicago (now Accenture).

Joyce received a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Indiana University in 1981 and a M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago in 1991.

She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, co-chair, Women in the Forefront Luncheon, and a member of the financial membership committee for The Chicago Network. Joyce also serves on the Dean's Council at both Indiana University and Sungkyunkwan University Graduate School of Business, South Korea.
