Jim Robo is chairman and CEO of NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NEE), a leading clean energy company. He was named president and CEO in July 2012 and became chairman of the board of directors in December 2013. Mr. Robo received his Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude from Harvard College in 1984 and his MBA in 1988 from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. He is a director of J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., one of the largest transportation logistics companies in North America, and he has served as lead independent director since 2012.
