Tracy Woodrow serves as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for M&T Bank. Tracy joined M&T in 2013 as Bank Secrecy Act officer, responsible for overseeing the enterprise-wide anti-money laundering program. In 2018, she was invited to testify before a U.S. Senate sub-committee to help U.S. banks better fight terrorism and money laundering. Before joining M&T, she worked as in-house counsel and a senior compliance leader with HSBC Bank USA, NA, focusing on commercial, anti-money laundering, and employment law matters.
Tracy serves as a board member of Buffalo Prep, an organization that advocates for educational access and equity and provides programming to academically ambitious scholars of color. In addition, she is the chair of the board of directors of the Westminster Foundation, which offers a range of educational and family support services on the East Side of Buffalo. She is also a 2019 graduate of Leadership Buffalo.
She holds a JD from Boston College Law School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York at Albany.
