Mr. Koraleski served from February 2015 through his retirement in September 2015 as executive Chairman of the Board of the Union Pacific Corporation (UP), which through its subsidiaries operates North America’s premier railroad franchise, covering 23 states across the western two-thirds of the United States. Prior to that, Mr. Koraleski was named President and Chief Executive Officer of the UP in 2012, elected as a Director of the UP in 2012 and appointed Chairman of the Board in 2014. Since joining the Union Pacific (Railroad) in 1972, Mr. Koraleski held a number of executive positions in the UP and the Railroad, including, Executive Vice President – Marketing and Sales from 1999 to 2012, Executive Vice President – Finance and Information Technology, Chief Financial Officer and Controller.

Mr. Koraleski served as the Chairman of The Bridges Investment Fund, Inc., a general equity fund whose primary investment objective is to seek long-term capital appreciation, from 2005 to 2012 and is a past Chairman of the Association of American Railroads.

Mr. Koraleski earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
