Ms. Rucker is former executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Andeavor.

Ms. Rucker served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary for Andeavor and as executive vice president and general counsel for the general partner of Andeavor Logistics LP from 2016-2018. Prior to joining Andeavor, Ms. Rucker was executive vice president, Corporate and Legal Affairs, general counsel and corporate secretary of Kraft Foods Group, Inc. from 2012 to 2015, where she led the legal, corporate affairs and government affairs functions. In 2008, Ms. Rucker served as senior vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer of Avon Products, Inc., and assumed the Corporate Secretary position in 2009. From 2004 to 2008, Ms. Rucker served as senior vice president, corporate secretary and chief governance officer for Energy Future Holdings, Corp. She was also corporate counsel for Kimberly-Clark Corporation and a Partner in the corporate and securities group at the law firm of Sidley Austin LLP. 

Ms. Rucker holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in economics from the University of Iowa, a master’s degree in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.

Ms. Rucker is a member of the boards of directors for Celanese Corporation, HP Inc. and Lennox International Inc. Additionally, she is on the board of directors of Haven for Hope and a member of the board of trustees of Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Marathon Petroleum Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, operates as an integrated downstream energy company primarily in the United States. The company operates through Refining & Marketing, and Midstream segments. The Refining & Marketing segment refines crude oil and other feedstocks at its refineries in the Gulf Coast, Mid-Continent, and West Coast regions of the United States; and purchases refined products and ethanol for resale and distributes refined products, including renewable diesel, through transportation, storage, distribution, and marketing services. Its refined products include transportation fuels, such as reformulated gasolines and blend-grade gasolines; heavy fuel oil; and asphalt. This segment also manufactures propane and petrochemicals. It sells refined products to wholesale marketing customers in the United States and internationally, buyers on the spot market, and independent entrepreneurs who operate primarily Marathon branded outlets, as well as through long-term fuel supply contracts to direct dealer locations primarily under the ARCO brand. The Midstream segment transports, stores, distributes, and markets crude oil and refined products through refining logistics assets, pipelines, terminals, towboats, and barges; gathers, processes, and transports natural gas; and gathers, transports, fractionates, stores, and markets natural gas liquids. Marathon Petroleum Corporation was founded in 1887 and is headquartered in Findlay, Ohio.
