He is the former Chairman of the National Ocean Industries Association. Mr. Alario has also served as a director of DNOW Inc. since May 2014, currently as Chairman of the Board, Chair of its Compensation Committee, and a member of the Environmental, Social, Governance, and Nominating Committee, and previously as its Executive Vice Chairman on an interim basis from June 2020 until October 2020, and as its interim Chief Executive Officer from November 2019 until June 2020. Mr. Alario graduated from Louisiana State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Its Marine Transportation segment provides marine transportation service and towing vessel transporting bulk liquid product, as well as operates tank barge throughout the Mississippi River System, on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, coastwise along three United States coasts, and in Alaska and Hawaii. Its Distribution and Services segment sells after-market service and genuine replacement parts for engines, transmissions, reduction gears, electric motors, drives, and controls, electrical distribution and control systems, energy storage battery systems, and related oilfield service equipment; rebuilds component parts or diesel engines, transmissions and reduction gears, and related equipment used in oilfield services, marine, power generation, on-highway, and other industrial applications; rents generators, industrial compressors, high capacity lift trucks, and refrigeration trailers; and manufactures and remanufactures oilfield service equipment, including pressure pumping units, as well as manufacturers electric power generation equipment, specialized electrical distribution and control equipment, and high capacity energy storage/battery systems.
