Mohit Ramani Biography and Net Worth

Mohit (“Mo”) Ramani is the Chief Risk Officer of KeyCorp, one of the United States’ largest bank-based financial services companies. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s risk management division and ensuring KeyCorp operates within its stated risk appetite across all risk domains. Mo is a member of Key Corp’s Executive Leadership Team.

Under Mo’s leadership, the risk management team provides strong independent oversight and guidance for managing risk across all business units and applicable risk domains so KeyCorp can best serve customers, clients, shareholders, and communities.

Mo has served in a number of senior roles throughout the industry. Prior to joining KeyCorp in 2025, Mo served as the Deputy Chief Risk Officer for Truist Financial Corporation, where he led both financial and non-financial risk teams across the enterprise. Mo served in other key risk leadership roles at Truist and SunTrust Banks, Inc. (predecessor to Truist) such as Chief Credit Officer, Chief Business Unit Risk Officer, and Head of Financial Risk Management. Prior to that, Mo served in a number of senior roles for Regions Financial Corporation, Goldman, Sachs & Co., and Bank of America, N.A.

Mo is a past board member of the Risk Management Association and is actively involved with other risk management organizations. He is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and enjoys supporting nonprofit organizations with a particular focus on the arts. Mo received a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in 1995 and a master’s degree in business administration from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management in 2001.
