Robin Hayes is the CEO of JetBlue Airways, an organization he joined in 2008.

Hayes has served in his current position since 2015, but prior to leading the airline company in this capacity, he was JetBlue’s president, where he oversaw the company’s commercial and operations areas including customer support, flight operations, system operations, and airport operations. From 2008 until 2013, he served as JetBlue’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer.

Prior to JetBlue, Hayes spent 19 years with British Airways. During that time, Hayes was the airline’s executive vice president for the Americas, served as general manager for Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean, and oversaw British Airways’ leisure department, including their British Airways holiday package product for JetBlue.

Hayes serves on a number of boards, including as chair of the board of governors of the International Air Transport Association, and as vice chair of Airlines for America, KeyCorp, the Wings Club Foundation, and Make-A-Wish Connecticut.

He holds both his bachelor’s degree in electronic and electrical engineering, as well as his master’s degree from the University of Bath.
