Dan joined IDEX in 2004 as the corporate development officer charged with leading global strategy, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. In this role, he has completed more than 40 transactions in conjunction with IDEX operating leaders across the globe. Dan has also been responsible for the global Treasury function, with primary responsibility for capital fund raising, share repurchases, global hedging and cash management.

He has 15+ years of progressive experience in management consulting, private equity and M&A in both professional service and corporate organizations. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche, where he worked on a variety of strategy, restructuring and transaction-related engagements across multiple industries. Later, Dan worked at SPX Corporation and held increasingly responsible roles in business development, eBusiness and business unit operations. Prior to joining IDEX, Dan worked with the Oxford Investment Group in charge of sourcing, structuring and completing middle market private equity transactions.

Dan received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He currently resides on the North Shore of Chicago with his family. In his free time, Dan enjoys travel, fitness and music.

The FSDP segment designs, produces, and distributes firefighting pumps, valves and controls, rescue tools, lifting bags, and other components and systems for the fire and rescue industry; engineered stainless steel banding and clamping devices for various industrial and commercial applications; and precision equipment for dispensing, metering, and mixing colorants and paints used in retail and commercial businesses.
