Rich Pohle is Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. He joined Huntington in October 2011 and assumed his current role in June 2019. Pohle has held various credit leadership roles including Senior Commercial Approval Officer. As Chief Credit Officer, Pohle oversees Huntington’s Commercial and Consumer credit organizations and chairs various executive-level committees of the bank.
Prior to joining Huntington, he spent 26 years at KeyBank where he served in several leadership roles.
Active in the Northeast Ohio community, Pohle has served on the boards of The Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeast Ohio, and Growth Opportunity Partners, economic development organization dedicated to helping Northeast Ohio’s most promising job-creating small businesses reach their full potential.
Pohle earned his bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University and his master’s degree from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1997 and is also a member of the Leadership Cleveland class of 2014.
