Tuan Tran is vice president and general manager of Inkjet Consumer Solutions in the Imaging and Printing Group (IPG) at HP. In this role, he leads the consumer inkjet business, the attach business and the embedded web to print strategy on behalf of IPG.

Tran has held numerous senior management and group marketing positions within IPG, most notably running the Media Supplies and Solutions organization, the worldwide marketing organization for the Supplies business and the worldwide marketing organization for IPG’s consumer business.

Tran joined HP in 1991 and has held a variety of marketing, finance and operations positions in the Consumer Business Organization, Mobile Computing Division and the Business Printing Division in Singapore. As one of the original members of the mobile computing team, he was instrumental in building a successful notebook business for HP.

Tran holds bachelor’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Oregon. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration in marketing, finance and operations from the University of Oregon. He is based in Vancouver, Wash.
