Mark R. Harris is executive vice president and chief financial officer of Heidrick & Struggles and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, based in our Stamford office. Since joining the firm in 2018, Mark is responsible for the company’s finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, business development and strategy, investor relations, risk management, treasury, real estate, and financial planning and analysis.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Mark was the chief financial officer and chief accounting officer of Hercules Capital, a publicly traded business development company on the New York Stock Exchange for three years. Before that, he was the senior managing director, head of asset management and chief financial officer of Avenue Capital Group’s Asia Pacific platform. Mark previously served as the corporate financial controller of Hutchison Telecommunication International Limited, a public trade telecommunications company on the NYSE.
Mark is a Foundation board member of his alma mater, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He has served on numerous board of directors in both public and private companies.
