Brian McGee is the executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer at GoPro, a high-definition camera company. 

McGee joined GoPro in 2015, signing on as its VP of finance. In that role, he was responsible for GoPro’s financial planning, risk management, tax and treasury. He quickly moved up to become executive vice president and chief financial officer, positions he held until 2020 when he also took on the role of COO. 

McGee has over 20 years of experience in financial and business management. Before joining GoPro, he worked for over four years at wireless company, Qualcomm, most recently as VP of business operations from 2013 to 2015. In that role, McGee headed up the company’s business operations for its mobile, networking, computing and internet of everything business. McGee also served as Qualcomm’s VP of marketing and business operations from 2011 to 2013. 

The beginning of his career was spent as a division CFO for Raychem Corporation from 1987 to 1999. He then moved on to Lexar Media, where he was the CFO for the publicly-traded maker of digital media storage. From 2007 to 2009, he served as CFO for Intellon Corporation, a publicly-traded fabless semiconductor company. Intellon was acquired by Atheros Communications in late 2009. 

McGee holds a B.S. in finance from California Polytechnic State University and a certificate in management accounting.
