In 2001, John led the successful integration of the Pillsbury and General Mills manufacturing and logistics networks. He was promoted to Vice President, Engineering in 2003, Vice President, Supply Chain Operations in 2007. Church became Chief Supply Chain Officer in 2008, and global shared services and security were added to his responsibilities in 2017.

John serves as the lead director for the supervisory board of Cereal Partners Worldwide, a joint venture with Nestle, and as lead director for the supervisory board of Yoplait, S. A., a joint venture with Groupe Sodiaal. He is also the Executive Sponsor for General Mills’ Hispanic Employee Network.

Church holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He resides in Orono, MN with his wife Klerissa, and has four children.
