Mr. Barbier is responsible for global manufacturing, procurement and supply chain, operational excellence, quality systems and Flex’s components business. In his role, he is focused on scaling modern manufacturing capabilities, including additive manufacturing, automation and robotics, and advanced and remote simulation, among others, and optimizing the company’s operational footprint to further drive efficiency. 

Since joining Flex in 2001, he has held a variety of leadership roles, including president of the company’s mobile and consumer division and senior vice president, European operations.

Prior to joining Flex, Mr. Barbier was vice president, Operations and Supply Chain for Alcatel’s mobile phone division and managed industrial facilities in France, Eastern Europe, China, and Mexico.

He holds an engineering (BTS) degree in production from Couffignal School and completed a post-graduate business joint program from Insead and Alcatel University.
