François Barbier is president of Global Operations and Components at Flex, the manufacturing partner of choice that helps a diverse customer base design and build products to improve the world.

Mr. Barbier is responsible for global manufacturing, procurement and supply chain, operational excellence, quality systems and Flex’s components business. In his role, he is focused on scaling modern manufacturing capabilities, including additive manufacturing, automation and robotics, and advanced and remote simulation, among others, and optimizing the company’s operational footprint to further drive efficiency.

Since joining Flex in 2001, he has held a variety of leadership roles, including president of the company’s mobile and consumer division and senior vice president, European operations.
