Tracy Brightman is executive vice president, chief people officer for FedEx Corporation, a global transportation and business services holding company (NYSE: FDX). She leads the company’s Human Resources function which includes talent development, succession planning, executive compensation, benefits, workforce strategy, and HR operations.

Brightman is a member of the FedEx Strategic Management Committee, which is responsible for developing and reviewing the corporation’s strategic business activities. Brightman earned her Juris Doctorate from The University of Virginia School of Law and received a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is admitted to the State Bar of Texas.

Brightman currently sits on the board of directors for Memphis Botanic Garden. During her time in Texas, she provided volunteer hours for North Texas Food Bank’s Love Packs program, as well as several other Dallas/Fort Worth-area family and children’s nonprofit organizations.
