Kurt Pletcher is Chief Legal Officer and leads Equinix’s global legal strategy and day-to-day legal operations. Together with his team, Kurt ensures we have policies and practices that propel business growth, enhance the customer experience, and are compliant with laws in the countries where Equinix operates, all while championing integrity and the highest level of ethical standards. Kurt joined Equinix in 2001.
During his tenure, Kurt has held leadership roles across a variety of global legal departments as part of Equinix’s Customer & Revenue Office and served as the VP of Legal, Americas focused on M&A, real estate, and employment.
Prior to joining Equinix, Kurt held roles in the Employment Law Group at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP and the Technology Group at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP in Menlo Park, California.
