Joel Linzner is the executive vice president of worldwide business affairs for EA, where he oversees global business development and partnerships.

He has been in his current role since 2016, and has previously held the positions of executive vice president of business and legal affairs, senior vice president of business and legal affairs, head of EA Sports, and vice president of worldwide business affairs.

Before joining the company internally in 1999, he acted as external litigation counsel for EA, in addition to other companies in the video game industry.

Linzner is part of the California Bar, and he is admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and several U.S. District Courts.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
