Beginning in 2006, he served in a variety of roles at Cooper Industries including vice president, chief legal counsel, Litigation, and executive vice president, Human Resources. Before joining Cooper Industries, Heath was a partner at the K&L Gates law firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Heath serves on the Board of Trustees for Playhouse Square. He is also a graduate of Leadership Cleveland 2018.
