Peter Holicki is senior vice president of Operations, Manufacturing and Engineering. In this role, Holicki presides over the Operations Leadership Team (OLT) and is accountable for the global Operations organization consisting of more than 22,000 employees across the globe. He is a member of Dow’s Leadership Team (LT), responsible for executing the Company strategy in addition to the Operations Team (OT), accountable for the Company’s productivity and performance. Peter is also a member of the North Star Team chartered to drive Dow’s Customer Experience and Employee Experience to advance the evolution of Dow’s operating model.
Holicki joined Dow in 1987 in Stade, Germany, where he held a variety of roles at the site. In 1997, Holicki obtained responsibility for leading the Dow King's Lynn manufacturing site in the United Kingdom. Shortly thereafter, between 2000 and 2002, he held the position of production leader for the Aromatic Derivatives Complex in Terneuzen, The Netherlands, where he ran multiple Hydrocarbons plants and led the Terneuzen Responsible Care Leadership Team.
In 2002, Holicki was appointed Olefins business director for Europe, Middle East and Latin America and from 2006 to 2009, he served as the site leader of Dow Terneuzen. He was then named global manufacturing vice president of Hydrocarbons, and vice president of Manufacturing & Engineering for Europe, Middle East & Africa until October 2012 when he was named vice president of Operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as the Ethylene Envelope. In January 2014, Holicki was elected corporate vice president of Manufacturing and Engineering and Environment, Health & Safety Operations and in October, 2015 was appointed senior vice president of Operations, Manufacturing and Engineering, Environment Health & Safety Operations.
Holicki serves as vice chair for Sadara Chemical Company’s Board of Directors. He is also serving as executive sponsor of Dow’s Disability Employee Network (DEN), designed to improve attraction, retention and advancement of employees with disabilities. He holds a degree in chemical engineering from Fachhochschule Münster, Germany and a Master of Business Administration from Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany.
