Edward “Ed” Bastian is the CEO of Delta Air Lines, a role he has held since May 2016.

Bastian is a 20-year veteran of the company, having joined in 1998 as vice president of finance and controller. He was then promoted to senior vice president, a role he held from 2000 to 2005. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Bonaventure University. Prior to Delta, he held positions at Frito-Lay, Pepsi-Cola, and Price Waterhouse where he began his career as an auditor.
