Sr. VP & Sr. Advisor to the CEO of Corteva

Meghan Cassidy is Senior Vice President, Senior Advisor to Corteva Agriscience CEO, Chuck Magro, a role she assumed in April 2022 after serving as the company’s Senior Vice President, Human Resource and Chief Diversity Officer for nearly five years. Her responsibilities include leading work to evolve the company’s operating model and new organizational design in alignment with the strategic direction of the company. She also oversees the Communications team and Change Management.

Cassidy has 25 years of experience spanning a range of Human Resources (HR) leadership roles and a diverse set of industries. Her expertise includes leading strategic transformations that help enable business performance. 

She spent her early career in progressive HR roles with Aramark Corporation, a leading food and hospitality provider, including both business-facing HR partner roles as well as enterprise-wide roles in compensation and benefits and talent and executive development. Cassidy also led several enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives. Her ultimate role with Aramark was Vice President and Executive of Development and Corporate HR.

Cassidy then spent five years in the oil & gas industry as Chief Human Resources Officer for Sunoco Logistics. During her time there, Cassidy instituted a comprehensive HR strategy including talent management practices, an effective talent acquisition model, and a diversity strategy to enable the company’s significant growth, which doubled in size during her tenure. Cassidy was also responsible for all matters related to the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.

In 2015, Cassidy joined DuPont as Director of Global Talent Management and Leadership Development. During a time of extensive change for the company, she revitalized DuPont’s approach to talent management and leadership development. Cassidy also led the comprehensive organizational design and talent selection process as part of the Dow and DuPont merger.

In 2017, Cassidy was named head of HR for Corteva Agriscience while also maintaining the HR leadership role with DuPont. Cassidy and her team built the HR strategy for Corteva Agriscience and prepared the organization to successfully spin off as a stand-alone public company. An advocate for putting people first, she championed the development of the company’s robust health and wellness offerings and its approach to workplace flexibility. 

To help accelerate the implementation of the company’s inclusion, diversity, and equity strategy, which Cassidy was instrumental in creating, her role was expanded in 2021 to include Chief Diversity Officer.

Cassidy holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Joseph’s University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Shippensburg University.
