He has volunteered with the Charlottesville-Albemarle Legal Aid Justice Center, Volunteer Lawyers for the Poor and the Greater Cincinnati Minority Counsel Program. He also served as the president of the University of Cincinnati College of Law Alumni Association board of trustees.
