Joe Squeri joined Comstock Holding Companies®, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHCI) in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer. During his tenure with Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. (“Comstock” or “Company”), Mr. Squeri has held various executive level management positions and has played a key role in the development and execution of Comstock’s strategic plan and the reshaping of its management team in support of the 2018 transformation of Comstock’s operating platform from being focused on for-sale homebuilding to commercial development, real estate asset management, and real estate related services.

From early 2017 to late 2018, Mr. Squeri served as President of CDS Capital Management, LC, the strategic acquisition and investment subsidiary of the Company that completed Comstock’s first acquisition of a real estate service company, JK Environmental (now known as Comstock Environmental Services, LC) in 2017 before transitioning into his current role, which includes oversight responsibility of Comstock Environmental Services, LC. Mr. Squeri is also a member of Comstock’s Executive Committee, which charts strategic direction, evaluates acquisition opportunities, and oversees strategic partnerships, including multiple public-private partnerships.
In addition to the executive management positions Mr. Squeri has held at Comstock, he served as a Managing Director with SunBridge Capital Management, LLC, a private investment management firm founded by the Bainum family, a prominent Washington, DC, family with investment interests that include Choice Hotels International (NYSE: CHH), banking, real estate, and has been a strategic partner with Comstock and continues to be a shareholder of the Company
From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Squeri served as the Executive Vice President - Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer of Federal Realty Investment Trust (NYSE: FRT). From 1997 through 2007, Mr. Squeri served in a variety of management positions at Choice Hotels International (NYSE: CHH), including Chief Financial Officer, and as President and Chief Operating Officer.
