Chasity is a key member of CECO’s senior leadership team serving as Corporate Secretary while overseeing all aspects of the legal department. Her main focus is to align with the growth objectives of the company, and to lead the corporate governance and business simplification efforts that enable the company’s corporate strategy and execution.
Previously, Chasity was an Assistant General Counsel at Kimberly-Clark Corporation in the company’s Dallas World Headquarters. She was the lead attorney globally for strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. In addition, Chasity assisted with corporate governance and led strategic and operational initiatives.
Prior to joining Kimberly-Clark, Chasity was Corporate Counsel at Dr Pepper Snapple Group, where she provided legal guidance to the company’s integral business functions. Chasity also managed company transactions, including commercial contracts, intellectual property, acquisitions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
Before joining the Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Chasity was Senior Counsel at Vizient, Inc. (f/k/a Novation, LLC), where she lead commercial transactions, maintained responsibility for the compliance program, and provided direct legal support to the company’s head of human resources.
Chasity began her career at the corporate law firm of Vinson & Elkins, LLP, where she focused on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, securities offerings, and corporate governance.
Chasity holds a juris doctor from The University of Texas School of Law and is licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
